Ben Curry (CISSP, MVP, MCP, MCT) is an author and enterprise network architect specializing in knowledge management and collaboration technologies. Ben is a Managing Partner at Summit 7 Systems, a company focused on the next generation of Microsoft products. Prior to launching Summit 7 Systems, Ben was an owner/partner at Mindsharp, the world leader in technical education for SharePoint. Ben’s philosophy is that the best solutions are inspired by the best ideas, and he encourages his team to generate and share ideas on a continuous basis. His philosophy is also exemplified in his numerous published books, and in his willingness to share his ideas as an instructor, both in the IT world and in the underwater world — Ben is a certified scuba instructor with a passion for diving. Other passions for life include riding his Harley Davidson through his hometown of Huntsville, Alabama, coaching his daughter’s softball team, and of course, being a husband to his wife, Kimberly, and a proud father of his children, Madison and Bryce.
