HAD402: Creating an Internet Presence with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007
Scot Hillier
Unlike previous version of SharePoint, the Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) was designed from the outset to support the creation of public Internet sites. In this session, we’ll create a public Internet site from scratch and then brand the site. We’ll identify and create the required Content Types, Master Pages, Page Layouts, and Style Sheets. Attendees will then learn how to migrate existing Internet pages into the new SharePoint site. After the structure and branding are created, we’ll utilize the Web Content Management (WCM) features of MOSS to set up authoring rights and approval workflows so that end users can manage the site content without assistance from the Information Technology department. Attendees will exit the session with a complete understanding of how to get an Internet site up and running.
HAD403: Empowering Power Users with Custom Activities in the Workflow Designer

In this session, developers will learn to create custom activities and deploy them for use in the Workflow Designer. This session will cover in detail the necessary steps to create and deploy activities with an emphasis on useful activities that support the business. Attendees will exit the session with new ideas and several new custom activities.
