Eugene Rosenfeld is a software systems architect who provides business consulting services. Mr. Rosenfeld has specialized in custom software development for enterprise application integration for the last 10 years. Portal and knowledge management systems were a natural extension to his work in EAI, as most projects required a consolidated user interface for the systems. Mr. Rosenfeld regularly incorporates various server platforms into his designs, including Microsoft SQL Server, Exchange, SharePoint and Autonomy, all backed by Microsoft the .NET Framework. Eugene has used these platforms to deliver financial system solutions as well as tactical and strategic deployments for the Department of Defense, and many other mission critical projects. Mr. Rosenfeld now creates smart client applications, extensible run-time frameworks, and blogs points of interest. He has found that the best way to achieve true scalability is to mentor others and encourage them to think differently about how software systems should interact with users and other software.
