Gaetan Castelein, VMware

Gaetan has more than 10 years of experience in Product Marketing, Product Management, and Strategic Marketing in IT products and solutions. Previously, Gaetan was a Senior Product Manager at Azul Systems, a leading provider of compute appliances optimized for Java virtual machines. Prior to Azul, Gaetan was with The Boston Consulting Group, where he led strategic marketing projects for a number of technology vendors and telecom service providers. Gaetan received an MBA from Stanford, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from UCL in Belgium.


Sean Deuby, Advaiya Inc.
DevConnections Speaker SeanDeubySean Deuby, a Senior Enterprise Solutions Strategist with Advaiya, Inc., has 25 years’ experience in enterprise IT. He spent over a decade running Texas Instruments’ IBM VM systems—the first virtualized operating system—then designed, deployed, and supported TI’s first Windows NT 3.5 worldwide infrastructure. He also spent 10 years with Intel Corporation, where he was the design engineer of the core directory services team and one of the architects of Intel’s corporate Active Directory forest. As a writer, Sean wrote one of the Windows 2000 books that focused on explaining its Active Directory, and he has been a Contributing Editor for Windows IT Pro magazine for 10 years. Sean is a regular and highly-rated speaker at Tech Ed and Windows Connections conferences, and has presented in locations from Norway to Indonesia. Microsoft has awarded Sean the MVP (Most Valuable Professional) distinction every year since 2004.

Edwin came to Microsoft with the July 2006 acquisition of Softricity. Prior to joining Microsoft, Edwin was one of the Services Engagement Managers of Softricity for six years, leading most of the initial Softricity implementations. Edwin has 14 years of technical consulting experience in both the commercial and federal space, and holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
